I recently went to Arizona for a photo conference, and in my spare time I was able to meet up with my friend John & his family for some truly southwestern-style family photos… the light & the colors down there are seriously to die for! John & I met during my visit to the desert highlands of central Mexico exactly one year before, so it was awesome to finally meet his beautiful family, and in such a beautiful setting. Upon hopping into their car, their oldest daughter Amaya gave me the raddest gift… Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle trading cards! Talk about a warm southern welcome!

It’s no secret that I love to travel, and I consider myself very lucky indeed that there are people out there in the great yonder who want me to take their photos on my travels.
