“I’ve run out of words. There’s nothing left but love.”
-torin
I’m crushing so hard on this wedding, and you’ll soon see why! Josie & Torin are just really…… cool. And really kind, and really loving. And really just everything good in this world.
Their first date was at Big Mario’s Pizza on Capitol Hill—and that’s also where Torin proposed to Josie—so it only made sense that we did some photos there too. They had a giant wedding party because they had so many people in their lives that they love that much, and they only had two kids at their wedding (their nephews), but that didn’t stop them from having pizza (!!!), cookies, and face painting for everyone to enjoy.
Seriously, how cool are they?!!!
I know in my last blog post I mentioned that we’d named our son after one of the brides’ brothers, and with this wedding, we almost actually named our son after Torin! (yes we had a hard time finding a name, haha) Torin is such a good strong name, and we knew that it would set a precedence for a life filled with an unwavering love for friends and family, and knowing how to have a damn good time.
I know that since their wedding, Josie and Torin have settled into a life of parenthood… and believe me when I say that they even make that look cool. But after having known a little bit about what got them to that day when they vowed to love each other for forever, and how fiercely they love and are loved by their families and friends, all I can think of is what incredible parents they already are and how amazing it must be to be raised up in this world by them. Sometimes you meet someone and you just know… man, you guys are the real deal.
The world is lucky to have you two in it, and I’m lucky because I get to know you! xo!
