These guys! This session is the second out of three times that I’ve had the pleasure of spending a few hours wrapped up in their fun family hug of a life (the third time being last weekend, and I already can’t wait to get the film back and share those with you!)… and as always, they charmed me with their sweeping gestures of love for each other and the quiet ways that they reach out to each other when they don’t even know I’m looking, with hugs that fill up the frame and just the perfect irreverent amount of silliness. Mat & Erin never let on that things are perfect or that they’ve got it all figured out; instead they seem at peace with the madness of life and parenthood, and inevitably what shines through is the sense of, “we’re in this together, you and me.”

And that’s what it’s all about. Life. Love. You. Me.
